day 1 - Rohacha
Airport pick-up and hotel check-in
Arrival and welcome at the airport by the tour guide/driver, followed by a transfer to the hotel to check in.
Check in at Hotel in Playa Mayapo
Depending on the flight’s arrival time, we’ll be able to go for a swim and relax on the beach opposite the hotel.

day 2 - Mayapo beach and Cabo de la Vela
Excursion by vehicle to Cabo de la Vela
We will set off in 4x4s from Mayapo towards Cabo de la Vela.
First, we will arrive at the Manaure Salt Flats, where a local guide will explain the traditional method of salt extraction and show us various details of the process.
We will then continue to Cabo de la Vela, where we will have lunch and visit Arcoíris Beach, the mini dune at the Cape, the Pilón de Azúcar, Playa Dorada and Playa Ojo de Agua (we will be able to swim at the latter two).
We will finish by climbing to the Cabo de la Vela lighthouse to enjoy the sunset.

day 3 - Cabo de la Vela ~
Punta Gallina
Punta Gallina desert
We’ll travel by 4x4 from Punta Gallinas to a unique experience in South America’s northernmost desert. First, we’ll stop at the Wind Farm Viewpoint, where the wind turbines blend into the arid landscape.
We’ll arrive at the Punta Gallinas desert for lunch with spectacular views. We’ll continue to the Taroa dunes, a golden expanse where you can bathe in the natural pools and experience the magic of surfing the desert sand.
To round off the day, we’ll head to the Punta Gallinas lighthouse, the northernmost point of Colombia, to admire an unforgettable sunset as the sun sinks into the Caribbean Sea.

day 4 - Punta Gallina and Riohacha
Return to Riohacha
Departure from Punta Gallinas bound for Riohacha, travelling through the stunning desert and coastal landscapes of La Guajira.
During the journey, which takes approximately 6 to 7 hours, we’ll stop at scenic viewpoints and soak up the unique atmosphere of the Colombian Caribbean before arriving at the beaches of Riohacha.

day 5 - Punta Gallina ~ Riohacha
Sailing trip to the Flamingo Sanctuary
From Riohacha, we'll head to the Flamingo Sanctuary, where we'll board a small boat accompanied by a local guide who will show us the sanctuary's natural wonders, including flamingos, other birds, and mangroves.The experience will conclude with time to enjoy a swim at the tranquil beach of Camarones.
Airport transfer
We will arrive at the airport in good time for our return flight: one hour early for domestic flights and two hours early for international flights.

Terms of payment
Payment methods:
Pay a 50% deposit on the tour price by bank transfer.
The remaining 50% can be paid by bank transfer within 7 days prior to departure.
Cancellation policy:
If cancellation occurs between the date of booking and 7 days before departure, 10% of the total tour price will be retained to cover administrative costs, with a refund of 40% of the total tour price.
Between 7 and 2 days before the start of the tour, a penalty of 50% of the total tour price will apply.
Between 2 days and 1 day the start of the tour, a penalty of 75% of the total tour price will be applied.
No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 1 day before the start of the tour.
Refunds will only be considered in the event of adverse weather or geological conditions.
Once the full price of the tour has been paid, no refunds will be given for activities not taken part in or meals not consumed.
