day 1 - Cartagena

Airport pick-up and hotel check-in

Arrival and welcome at the airport by the tour guide/driver, followed by a transfer to the hotel to check in.

Visiting Cartagena de Indias means immersing yourself in a vibrant blend of history, culture and Caribbean flair. The experience begins in the iconic walled city, a labyrinth of cobbled streets, flower-filled balconies and colonial façades that seem frozen in time. A leisurely stroll through this historic centre reveals lively squares, centuries-old churches and corners brimming with local life.

The Caribbean vibe is felt on every corner: street musicians, tropical fruit vendors and the warm breeze coming in from the sea create a unique atmosphere. As evening falls, the golden light transforms the city into the perfect setting to enjoy the stroll and take unforgettable photographs.

day 2 - Cartagena and the islands

Boat trip

The day begins with a speedboat departure from the jetty, sailing across turquoise waters as the sea breeze heralds a day of relaxation and nature.

The tour includes a visit to the islands of the archipelago, where you can enjoy quiet beaches, idyllic landscapes and a closer encounter with the Caribbean environment. At the famous Playa Blanca, known for its white sand and crystal-clear waters, a typical lunch is usually served by the sea: fresh fish, coconut rice and patacones, a simple combination bursting with local flavour.

day 3 - Cartagena and Barú

Barú

If you have some time to spare before your flight departs, a trip to Barú is an ideal option for those seeking idyllic beaches without straying too far from Cartagena de Indias. Although many refer to it as an island, Barú is actually a peninsula, accessible by both land and sea, making it easy to organise your trip according to your schedule and travel style.
The journey can be made by car through rural landscapes and mangroves, or by speedboat for a more dynamic experience on the Caribbean Sea.

Airport transfer

We will arrive at the airport in good time for our return flight: one hour early for domestic flights and two hours early for international flights.

Terms of payment

Payment methods:

Please pay a 50% deposit on the tour price by bank transfer.
The remaining 50% can be paid by bank transfer within 7 days prior to departure.

Cancellation policy:

If cancellation occurs between the date of booking and 7 days before departure, 10% of the total tour price will be retained to cover administrative costs, with a refund of 40% of the total tour price.

Between 7 and 2 days before the start of the tour, a penalty of 50% of the total tour price will apply.

Between 2 days and 1 day the start of the tour, a penalty of 75% of the total tour price will be applied.

No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 1 day before the start of the tour.

Refunds will only be considered in the event of adverse weather or geological conditions.

Once the full price of the tour has been paid, no refunds will be given for activities not taken part in or meals not consumed.
